Backed by Asia’s biggest tufting supplier – Tuftin’ Asia, Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop is bringing you an elevated version of tufting experience that we proudly call Tufting 2.0.

So what exactly is Tufting 2.0?
Introducing Tufting 2.0, a revolutionary weightless tufting system designed to overcome the enduring challenge of heavy tufting guns in traditional rug production, ensuring our customers enjoy the ultimate tufting experience. You will not feel the weight of the tufting gun during your tufting session. With its intuitive design, this user-friendly tufting system addresses common tufting issues such as fatigue from heavy guns, fabric tearing, and the occurrence of shedding or fraying in final products. Your finished product will rival store-bought rugs, crafted entirely by your own hands. It’s also the first and only one in South East Asia and nothing like any other tufting workshop you have seen before in the market.

We currently offer 5 options for tufting workshop. If you are completely new to tufting, we recommend going for XS or S size frame. If you have tried out tufting before or just feeling adventurous, do go for M or L size frame. Each session includes:-
– 1x tufting frame + fabric set up of your choice of size
– 1x tufting gun (kindly add-on via “additional pax” if you wish you have additional gun(s))
– Unlimited yarns
– All tools & materials
– 1x complimentary drink from our cafe menu (You can order at the counter when you arrive :))
– Complimentary professional rug finishing & handling services
– We do not set a fixed duration for all our DIY experiences but expect to spend about 2-5 hours for this activity depending on the frame size you choose.

The finished product can be used as a rug, wall hanging or decor. We use professional latex binder, the kind that rug manufacturers use for rug finishing. Our process of finishing your artwork is exactly the same as the process used by carpet manufacturers.

Collection time
If you opt to have the finishing done by our team, your artwork will be ready for collection after 3 weeks. You can either pick it up (we’d love to see you again!) after 3 weeks & within 2 months from our studio or have the option for us to post your artwork back to you (for a small fee).
*We will not be contacting our customers to pick up their artwork, artwork not picked up after 2 months will be donated to charity.

Important note
– Design to be provided by you at least 6 hours prior to your session. There are certain requirements for tufting design, please read more about the design requirement here. We suggest going for beginner-friendly design in your first class.
– You can choose to do the own finishing on the spot for immediate collection of artwork on the same day. Please note that this will take about 1 hour to be done by yourself. If you choose this option, please book slots before 2pm.
– The minimum age for tufting is 10 and above. Kids below the age of 10 will need to be accompanied by parents or guardians.

About Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop
All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a non-classroom-like cafe setting for guests to unleash their creative freedom. We do not have an instructor that’s always hovering over you, but we do have a few community managers around to help with your project. We also do not set a fixed duration for all DIY experiences, feel free to create while having a sip of coffee & chatting away with your friends in our cafe.
