Paint Your Own Pottery

About the experience
You will be painting your choice of ready-to-paint semi-fired ceramic called a bisqueware, we have a wall full of different bisquewares for you to choose from 🙂 After painting, your bisqueware will be fired and turned into functional ceramics. This is a great activity for you to create personalized ceramic pieces for all occasions, for yourself and all the people in your life. Come spend some quality relaxing time creating alone or with your friends and family. All ages are welcome.

Each session includes:-
– 1x your choice of ready-to-paint M size semi-fired ceramic (it’s called bisqueware)
– All tools & materials for: unlimited underglazes, pencils, brushes, tape, and all necessary stationery
*Our underglazes are non-toxic and lead free, suitable for both adult & kids!
– 1x complimentary drink from our cafe menu (You can order at the counter when you arrive :))
– Firing & handling services
– To add on more bisqueware, kindly approach our friendly staff for assistance during your session, pottery painting can be addictive and you might wanna paint more than one item 😉 Small size items cost RM 50; medium size items cost RM 70; large size items cost RM 90.
– We do not set a fixed duration for all our DIY experiences but expect to spend about 1-2 hours for this activity.

All painted ceramics will be fired in our kiln at ~1200° celcius, the final product is food safe, microwave & dishwasher safe, like any other ceramic bought commercially, but painted all by yourself.

Collection time
Your pieces will be ready for collection after 3 weeks. You can either pick it up (we’d love to see you again!) after 3 weeks & within 2 months from our studio or have the option for us to post your piece back to you (for a small fee).
*We will not be contacting our customers to pick up their artwork, artwork not picked up after 2 months will be donated to charity.

About Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop
All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a non-classroom-like cafe setting for guests to unleash their creative freedom. We do not have an instructor that’s always hovering over you, but we do have a few community managers around to help with your project. We also do not set a fixed duration for all DIY experiences, feel free to create while having a sip of coffee & chatting away with your friends in our cafe.
