The Print Grocer – Not just a photobooth

About the Experience
Welcome to The Print Grocer, where nostalgia is freshly printed!
Step inside our lovingly refurbished retro Japanese photobooth, rewrapped and redesigned with our own playful Happy Hour Club twist. While the exterior has been given a fresh new look, we kept its original nostalgic software—so the entire experience still feels charmingly old-school, hands-on and just a little DIY-ish.

Instead of an automated photobooth, you’ll key in your preferred frame numbers one by one using a mechanical keyboard and mouse. When you’re ready, use the handheld clicker to take each photo yourself—no rushed automatic countdown and no camera catching you before you’re ready!

You’ll have 10 minutes inside the photobooth, with as many retakes as you like within your session. Grab something fun from our full wall of photo props, experiment with different poses and click only when everyone is ready.

Your final photographs will be printed in full colour and ready for you to take home on the same day.

When you book 1 seat, the price includes:
– 10 minutes inside The Print Grocer photobooth

– 1 seat is for one 10-minute session and includes one printed photo sheet, regardless of the number of people participating.
*The Memory Tincase is not included in the base booking. It may be added separately for RM 50 when booking or purchased during your visit, subject to availability.

Turn your freshly printed photos into a pocket-sized collection of keepsakes, customised entirely by you. Make it yours, fill it with memories and keep it close.
What’s inside each Memory Tincase:
– 1 random customisable film-roll keychain DIY
– 1 random customizable & engraveable photo-locket DIY
– 1 random magnetic photo-frame DIY
– 1 set of limited-edition UV stickers to decorate the Memory Tincase
– 1 random mini Print Grocer pen
– 1 random mini Memory notepad
– A chance to receive 1 pair of rare bonus magnetic stickers, available in only 1 out of every 30 Memory Tincases
– Complimentary photo-locket engraving, limited to 6 alphabets in block or cursive lettering
You can then fill your Memory Tincase with ticket stubs, special receipts, handwritten notes, lucky coins, chapsticks or any other tiny treasures that are too memorable to throw away.
The Memory Tincase is available as an optional add-on for RM50 and is not included in the base photobooth booking. Designs, colours and individual items are provided at random and are subject to availability.

The Print Grocer is more than just a photobooth—it’s a nostalgic, hands-on ritual built around Happy Hour Club’s core belief that everything is more meaningful when you make it yourself.

We refurbished an old Japanese photobooth, gave it a completely new look and added our own design twist, while intentionally preserving its nostalgic software and hands-on controls.

To continue the experience, add an optional Memory Tincase and turn your freshly printed photos into a collection of keepsakes. You’ll DIY every keepsake inside—from the film-roll keychain and photo locket to the magnetic frame—before decorating your tin and filling it with little memories worth keeping.

Grab your favourite props, experiment with different poses and create something that feels spontaneous, personal and completely yours.

–Add on a Memory Tincase in your booking and receive an additional photo print for FREE! Keep one photo strip and use the other to DIY your keepsakes. (RM70 total,  Save RM10)

Important Note & Other Commonly Asked Questions
– Each photobooth booking includes a 10-minute session.
– How many people can join? There is no pax limit for your booking. However, the photobooth fits approximately 2–4 people at one time, depending on how creatively you position yourselves.
– You may take as many retakes as you like within your allocated session time.
– Please choose your preferred photo layout before beginning.
– A total of 3 photo layout choices are currently available: 2 designed templates and 1 frameless option.
– Memory Tincase is an optional add-on and is not included in the photobooth booking fee.
– Memory Tincase contents, locket shapes and colours may vary according to available stock.
– Complimentary locket engraving is limited to a maximum of 6 alphabets and is available in block or cursive lettering.
– Shared scissors, cutting tools and other materials are available at the Quick DIY Zone. Please return all tools after use.
– Kindly dispose of paper cut-outs and other rubbish in the bins provided at each station. Thank you for helping us keep the space clean!
– Can we take turns? Yes! You can rotate between different people, couples and group combinations within the same 10-minute session.
– Can we retake our photos? Yes! Take as many retakes as you like within your allocated 10 minutes.
– Is the price charged per person? No. The price is for one 10-minute photobooth session, not per person.
– How many prints will we receive? Each booking includes one full-colour printed photo sheet.

Collection Time
Your full-colour photographs and completed keepsakes will be ready to take home on the same day.

Time limit
The Print Grocer operates on a flexible queue system. Your booking is valid within your selected one-hour time window, and photobooth sessions will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Each group may use the photobooth for approximately 5–10 minutes, with as many retakes as time allows. As every group moves at a different pace, a short waiting time may be expected during busy periods. Feel free to continue with your other DIY activity, browse our wall of props or enjoy your drink while waiting for your turn. Please check in with our Community Managers when you are ready to join the queue.

If you miss your selected booking window, we will still try our best to accommodate you, subject to the remaining availability for the day. All photobooth sessions must be completed before our closing time. Thank you for helping us make this a fun, smooth, and fair experience for everyone!

Group Booking FAQs
At Happy Hour Club, a group booking refers to any reservation for 10 guests or more—perfect for corporate events, team building sessions, birthday parties, bridal showers, and other special gatherings!
-For groups of 10 to 20 pax, standard pricing applies—but each guest will receive an additional complimentary plain croffle + a personalized button badge pin.
-For group or corporate bookings of more than 20 pax, you’ll enjoy additional complimentary plain croffles + a personalized button badge pin + a 10% discount on this activity.
-The Crankinator will need to be shared among participants for group bookings.
*If you’re booking Teddy Builder for 20 pax or more, please email or call us directly to make your reservation, as our system doesn’t currently support bookings above 20 pax in one session.

About Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop
All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a relaxed, non-classroom cafe setting, encouraging guests to explore their creativity freely. Following the QR journey/step-by-step guide is part of the experience in here. You won’t find instructors hovering over you, but our awesome community managers are always available if you need a hand. Feel free to give them a shout for any assistance!
