About the experience
This DIY experience is a fun alternative to our popular Pottery Painting and Ceramic Painting DIY — perfect for anyone who isn’t into painting or just wants something super easy and relaxing.
Instead of brushes and colours, you’ll be using our pre-made ceramic decals (basically stickers for ceramics!). Pick your favourite designs, dip them in water, enjoy the satisfying water-slide moment, and place them onto your piece. It’s a relaxing, sensory-friendly, no-drawing-needed activity that still lets you create something cute and personalised.
You can choose from our wide range of fully-fired ceramics and glassware (great for gifting and daily use), and we’ll help you with the setting/finishing. The best part: the finished piece can be collected on the same day, so it’s perfect for travellers, families with kids, or anyone who wants to bring home their artwork immediately.
This is a lovely way to create personalised pieces for birthdays, friends, partners, kids, teachers — basically anyone in your life. Come spend some slow, happy time decorating on your own, or make it a mini session with family and friends. All ages are welcome.
Each session includes:-
– 1x your choice of medium size fully-fired ceramic/glassware
– All tools & materials: ceramic/glass decals, scraper, scissors, and all necessary stationery
– 1x complimentary drink from our cafe menu (You can order at the counter when you arrive :))
– Decal fixing procedure & handling services
– To add on more ceramic/glassware, kindly approach our friendly staff for assistance during your session, ceramic pick & patch can be addictive and you might wanna make more than one item 😉
Your ceramic will be heat-set by our team once you’re done, the final product is not scratch-proof but is microwave-safe. Only surfaces which do not come in contact with food should be decorated.
Difference between Ceramic Pick & Patch “Low-temp heat setting” vs “High-temp firing”
The difference between Ceramic Pic & Patch “Low-temp heat setting” and “High-temp firing” is the type of decal used. Low-temp heat setting uses craft-grade decals that do not require kiln firing — only a low-temperature heat set. The finished piece is microwave-safe, lightly scratch-proof, and not food-safe (decorate non-food-contact areas only).
For High-temp firing, we use industrial pottery-standard overglaze decals that require firing at 800 °C for 6 hours. The final product is food-safe, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and extremely scratch-proof—just like store-bought overglaze ceramics.
The DIY experience for both is the same: low-cognitive, pick your decals and stick them on, no painting – fun and therapeutic. If you’re a traveller, need the artwork the same day, or are hosting an event where guests bring pieces home immediately, choose “Low-temp heat setting.” Otherwise, choose “High-temp firing” for a finish that will last a lifetime, just like our pottery painting.
Collection time
Your pieces will be ready for collection the same day. Kindly wait for 1 hour for the decal setting procedure (done by our community manager). If you are unable to wait, we also offer the option to post your piece back to you (for a small fee). Just ask our friendly community manager for more details.

Group Booking FAQs
At Happy Hour Club, a group booking refers to any reservation for 10 guests or more—perfect for corporate events, team building sessions, birthday parties, bridal showers, and other special gatherings!
-For groups of 10 to 20 pax, standard pricing applies—but each guest will receive an additional complimentary plain croffle.

About Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop
All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a relaxed, non-classroom cafe setting, encouraging guests to explore their creativity freely. Following the QR journey/step-by-step guide is part of the experience in here. You won’t find instructors hovering over you, but our awesome community managers are always available if you need a hand. Feel free to give them a shout for any assistance!
