Pick your yarn, turn the crank, then stuff, shape and dress your new little friend. Follow along at your own pace.

This is a relaxed, self-guided DIY experience. Follow the steps in order, pause whenever you need to, and ask a Community Manager if you need help. You can bring your teddy home with you today!.

1. Pick your yarn & start cranking
- Choose your favourite yarn colour.
- Crank 50 rounds to make your teddy’s body.
- Go slowly and steadily. Slow down as you approach 50.
At 50 rounds, stop and ask our crew for the next step.
2. Cast off
- Stop when the counter reaches 50.
- Ask our crew to cast the body off the Crankinator.
Let our crew take care of this part before you start stuffing.
3. Stuff & hug
- Stuff and shape your teddy. Give it a hug! Add more stuffing if it feels too soft.
- Pull the yarn end tight. Tie 2 dead knots, then secure the yarn by following the Golden Sewing Rule below.
4. Pick a shape
- ROUND: Leave the body as it is.
- PEANUT: Sew across the middle and pull to form a waist. Tie a dead knot and secure the yarn.
5. Sew on teddy parts
- Your booking includes 2 teddy parts.
- Use them as limbs or ears and sew them onto your teddy.
Take your time with the sewing. Ask a Community Manager if you’d like a hand.
6. Make ears from the body
- If you’re not using the included teddy parts as ears, pinch and sew the teddy’s body to create a pair of ears.
Already used your included parts as ears? Skip ahead to step 7.
7. Add eyes & a nose
- Clip on the eyes and nose to bring your teddy to life!
Ask a Community Manager if you need a hand attaching them.
Golden Sewing Rule
Every time you finish sewing:
- Tie a dead knots.
- Add a few extra stitches.
- Hide the yarn end inside.
- Then cut.
Never cut directly beside the knot.
For closing the stuffed body in step 3, tie 2 dead knots before the extra stitches.
8. Clothes & accessories
- Choose an outfit and accessories next door.
- Pay at the counter before dressing your teddy.
- Pay for any extra teddy parts at the same time.
9. Teddy Club Card & add colour
- Head to the Quick DIY Zone to complete your Teddy Club Card.
- Add rosy cheeks or colour the ears. Be creative!
10. Wrap & take home
- Bring your teddy to the counter for complimentary wrapping.
- Your new little friend is ready for same-day pickup.
