About the Experience
Welcome to Ceramic/Glass Pick & Patch (High Temp), a fun alternative to pottery painting where you decorate ceramics using water-slide overglaze decal instead of paint! In this relaxing, beginner-friendly session, you’ll choose your ceramic/glass piece from our wide variety of ready-made ceramics/glass, then head over to our Patch Bar to pick 10 overglaze decals to decorate your piece. You’ll also get access to unlimited solid colour decals, which you can cut and paste freely by hand or with our shape cutters to create your own design. Once your piece is complete, we’ll fire it in our kiln at around 800°C (~600°C for glass), turning your artwork into a finished piece that is microwave safe and dishwasher safe, just like store-bought ceramics.
When you book 1 seat, the price includes:
– Your choice of 1x ready-made M-sized ceramic/glasspiece from our available collection
– 10x overglaze decals from our Patch Bar (We have lots of cool designs including alphabets & numbers)
– Unlimited solid colour patches for extra decorating
– Use of our shape cutters to cut solid colour decals into fun shapes
– All basic tools and materials needed for the water-slide decal transfer process
– 1x complimentary drink from our cafe menu, redeemable during your session
– Firing and handling services
– Final high-temperature overglaze firing at around 800°C for ceramic or ~600°C for glass
*1 seat includes 1x pick & patch ceramic piece + 1 drink. This experience is strictly not shareable, as each guest will be decorating their own ceramic piece.
Add-ons during your session:
If you’d like to decorate more than 1 ceramic/glass piece, you may add on additional pick & patch items during your session, subject to availability.

What’s so fun about it?
This is professional ceramic/glass decorating for anyone who wants something beautiful, personal, and low-pressure — without needing to paint. Instead of using brushes and underglazes, you’ll decorate your ceramic piece using overglaze decals. Think of it like embroidery patches, but for ceramics. Choose your designs from our Patch Bar, be extra creative with free flow solid colour patches, cut your own shapes, and create a design that feels completely yours.
It’s especially perfect if you love the idea of decorating ceramics but feel unsure about painting, drawing, or “getting it right.” With Ceramic Pick & Patch, you still get to make all the creative choices — colours, placement, layout, and style — but in a more fuss-free and stress-free way.
About Our Overglaze Decals
Our industrial pottery-standard overglaze decals are made from scratch using overglaze and a labour-intensive silk screen printing technique. Each design is specially prepared for professional ceramic/glass application, then transferred onto your chosen piece using the water-slide method. After your piece is decorated, it will be fired in our kiln at around 800°C for ceramic & 600°C for glass so the patches become part of the surface. The final result is polished, lasting, and suitable for everyday use (they’re microwave safe and dishwasher safe too!).
Difference between Ceramic Pick & Patch “Low-temp heat setting” vs “High-temp firing”
The difference between Ceramic Pic & Patch “Low-temp heat setting” and “High-temp firing” is the type of decal used. Low-temp heat setting uses craft-grade decals that do not require kiln firing — only a low-temperature heat set. The finished piece is microwave-safe, lightly scratch-proof, and not food-safe (decorate non-food-contact areas only).
For High-temp firing, we use industrial pottery-standard overglaze decals that require firing at 800 °C for 6 hours. The final product is food-safe, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and extremely scratch-proof—just like store-bought overglaze ceramics.
The DIY experience for both is the same: low-cognitive, pick your decals and stick them on, no painting – fun and therapeutic. If you’re a traveller, need the artwork the same day, or are hosting an event where guests bring pieces home immediately, choose “Low-temp heat setting.” Otherwise, choose “High-temp firing” for a finish that will last a lifetime, just like our pottery painting.
Collection time
Your pieces will be ready for collection after 3 weeks. You can either pick it up (we’d love to see you again!) after 3 weeks & within 2 months from our studio or have the option for us to post your piece back to you (for a small fee).
*We will not be contacting our customers to pick up their artwork, artwork not picked up after 2 months will be donated to charity.
Time limit
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, there is a time limit of 2 hours for this DIY experience. We kindly ask all guests to arrive on time for their booking, as all sessions are run on a fixed time slot basis.
If you arrive late, your session time will still end according to your original booking slot. In cases where your delayed arrival causes an overlap with the next booking, we may need to ask you to leave at the end of your allocated slot and reschedule for another session to continue, so that it is fair to the next customers. Our last call is 5:00 PM, and all last sessions of the day are scheduled to end by or before 7:00 PM (our closing time). Guests who arrive late after 5:00 PM will still need to finish up before 7:00 PM or reschedule for another session to continue.

At Happy Hour Club, a group booking refers to any reservation for 10 guests or more—perfect for corporate events, team building sessions, birthday parties, bridal showers, and other special gatherings!
-For groups of 10 to 20 pax, standard pricing applies—but each guest will receive an additional complimentary plain croffle.

All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a relaxed, non-classroom cafe setting, encouraging guests to explore their creativity freely. Following the QR journey/step-by-step guide is part of the experience in here.
