Teddy Builder lets you build your own teddy. Crank-a-Teddy lets you manufacture one from scratch. 🧸🧶
Welcome to the Crank-A-Teddy DIY Experience, where you get to manufacture your very own plushie from scratch — starting with just yarn!
Choose your favourite yarn colour, then use the Crankinator (our yarn-cranking machine!) to crank the body of your plushie. Stuff it with soft cotton filling, shape it, and turn it into your own character — whether it’s a teddy, bunny, cat, dog, or any cute creature you can imagine.
Finish your new friend with optional clothing, accessories, iron-on embroidery patches, and a customizable Teddy Club Card, before we gift wrap it for you to take home.
The best part? This isn’t just a little handmade craft — your finished plushie is soft, fluffy and properly huggable, perfect for cuddling and even bringing to bed. Each Crank-A-Teddy is approximately 30–40 cm tall, depending on how you stuff, shape and sew it.
No two Crank-a-Teddies will ever be exactly the same. You’re not choosing one off a shelf — you’re making yours from yarn to teddy.
When you book 1 seat, the price includes:
– Your choice of yarn to create 1x Crank-A-Teddy plushie (Your final Crank-A-Teddy would be approximately 30–40 cm tall, depending on how you stuff, shape and sew it)
– Use of The Crankinator (our yarn-cranking machine that helps create the base of your plushie)
– 1 pair of premade character parts to shape your plushie into your chosen animal (Additional premade parts can be purchased at RM 20/pair)
– Basic decoration materials: 1pair of eyes, 1x nose, and simple finishing details
– 1x customizable Teddy Club Card for your plushie
– 1x complimentary drink from our cafe menu, redeemable during your session
– 1x complimentary gift wrapping service per plushie
– Access to a wide range of clothing, accessories, iron-on embroidery patches, sunglasses, and other add-ons available at additional charges
*1 seat includes 1 Crank-A-Teddy plushie + 1 drink. If you’d like to make more than 1 plushie, simply increase the number of seats. Each plushie can be shared by up to 2 people, so just book according to the number of plushies you want to create.
What’s not included:
– Outfits, accessories, and additional customization options to dress and personalize your teddy are not included in the booking fee. They’re available for add-on during your session (prices start from RM 1).
– Accessories are optional, ranging from RM1 to RM49. Teddy accessories price range: Voice recorder: ~RM25; Heartbeat: ~RM39; Clothing: ~RM15–39; Bib: ~RM5–19; Hairclip: ~RM1; Sunglasses: ~RM10 (prices are subject to change)

Unlike our Teddy Builder, where you bring a ready-made teddy to life, Crank-A-Teddy lets you make one from scratch — starting with yarn! Crank the body, stuff and shape it, then mix and match different ears, limbs, faces, outfits and accessories to create your own character. Every decision changes how your teddy turns out.
Some end up chubby. Some are long and floppy. Some have tiny heads or oversized ears. That’s the charm of it. No two ever turn out exactly the same!
Best of all, your finished teddy is soft, fluffy and properly huggable — approximately 30–40 cm tall and perfect as a bedtime buddy.
For a limited-time only, when you book a seat today, you’ll enjoy:
– 1x complimentary drink of your choice from our menu
– 1x personalized button badge pin for your teddy (worth RM 39) with any total purchase of RM 160/teddy or more (eg. add on addtional premade parts for RM 20 + clothing for RM 20 + the original RM 130 you’ve paid for the teddy = RM 170)

– Plushie designs are updated daily on our IG stories (@happyhourclubmy) — Catch the latest stock updates there.
– We don’t offer stuffing services for teddies not bought from us. If you bought a teddy here and have a valid booking, re-stuffing is available within 30 days.
– Plushport & Teddy Boarding Pass are only given to teddies with a valid booking.
– No booking required if you’re just shopping for accessories. Feel free to walk in anytime.
Collection Time
Your teddy will be ready to take home on the same day.
Time limit
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we’ve introduced a time limit of 3 hours for the Crank-a-Teddy DIY experience. This includes up to 1 hour to complete your Crank-a-Teddy journey, with an additional 30 minutes to add personal touches, snap some photos, enjoy your drink, and more. We kindly ask all guests to arrive on time for their booking, as all sessions are run on a fixed time slot basis.
If you arrive late, your session time will still end according to your original booking slot. In cases where your delayed arrival causes an overlap with the next booking, we may need to ask you to leave at the end of your allocated slot and reschedule for another session to continue, so that it is fair to the next customers. Our last call is 5:00 PM, and all last sessions of the day are scheduled to end by or before 7:00 PM (our closing time). Guests who arrive late after 5:00 PM will still need to finish up before 7:00 PM or reschedule for another session to continue.

Please note that yarn colors & outfit designs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may vary with each restock batch. The specific designs shown in the pictures might not be available during your session, but you may find other exciting new designs to choose from. By participating in the Crank-a-Teddy DIY Experience, you agree to our terms and conditions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Group Booking FAQs
At Happy Hour Club, a group booking refers to any reservation for 10 guests or more—perfect for corporate events, team building sessions, birthday parties, bridal showers, and other special gatherings!
-For groups of 10 to 20 pax, standard pricing applies—but each guest will receive an additional complimentary plain croffle + a personalized button badge pin.
-For group or corporate bookings of more than 20 pax, you’ll enjoy additional complimentary plain croffles + a personalized button badge pin + a 10% discount on this activity.
*If you’re booking Teddy Builder for 20 pax or more, please email or call us directly to make your reservation, as our system doesn’t currently support bookings above 20 pax in one session.
About Happy Hour Club Cafe & Workshop
All our DIY experiences are intentionally conducted in a relaxed, non-classroom cafe setting, encouraging guests to explore their creativity freely. Following the QR journey/step-by-step guide is part of the experience in here. You won’t find instructors hovering over you, but our awesome community managers are always available if you need a hand. Feel free to give them a shout for any assistance!
